I received my figures and flags today. All I can say is,  :o :-* :-* :-* :-*

Tsuba's communication was excellent and their speed in posting was spot on. The figures were carefully packaged between layers of bubble wrap with the smaller, loose items in Ziploc bags.

The figures are crisply molded with the most minimal of flash. Many figures won't even need to be cleaned up! The metal used is hard and strong which can be a hazzard if serious bending is required. Truthfully, I prefer the harder metals since they seem to allow for finer cast details. There were two slightly bent rifles which were quickly put back in order without any residual distortion. I credit this ease of resolution to both the quality of casting process, and the care taken in packaging.

In summary, these figures are phenomenal! My only regret is....Is....Nope, I have none! ;D  All I can say, is that if you are either an interwar or pulp gamer, these belong on your table.

I second all of that.  Great figures, great service!!!

Andrew Taylor has painted another casting of the standard bearer, this time using the specific Freikorps Werdenfels banner from Flags of War's banner sheet:

I had it analysed in the late 1980's.  The second most carcinogenic beer in the world.  At the time.  Guess which was the most carcinogenic?

Tecate Beer, Tecate Beer, it tastes like a Mexican's ass.

Actually carcinogenic or just toxic? Quilmes? Carling? Harp Lager? Southwark?

That world renowned tipple, The worlds original pilsner style lager, Pilsner Urquell.  In those days the brewing was done underground (keeps the temperatures down) in huge wooden vats that dated from the Austro-Hungarian empire.  It looked magnificent, and was a 'purists' idea of heaven.  Problem was, in a cave, underground, you get bats.  And bats shat in the beer.  Not good.  I understand it's all stainless steel closed vats now, not as romantic, but a helluva lot cleaner.
