The bad guys look like GW goliath gangers. not sure about the good fellas. Hasslefree do some martial artists.. worth a look.

Good luck

The sickle in the fruitful field;
The sword he sung a song of death,
But could not make the sickle yield."

One of the best japanese comic of all times. The anime is really cool. For people who doesn't know it, it's a mix of mad max 2 and ancient martials arts. And a lot, I mean a LOT of blood and special gore martial moves (like brain explosions, chest slicing, that kind of joy).

That would be great to see it in miniatures.

For hard muscled barbarians proxies, GW goliath gangers are a good idea. You also could take a look on Celtos and some chronopia range series ("sons of kronos"). You'll find some nice barbarians to convert. For other people, any post apocalyptic minis should do the job.

em4 / grenadier postapocalyptic types could be good for converting into punks for Ken to 'splode...

And if  you go for the Em4/Grenadier ones, don't forget Copplestone Castings' scavengers:

Copplestone also did the very first Warzone figs, that are bigger than the Grenadier ones, but fit in well all the same being from the same sculptor. Some of the Capitol military types work fine (search for the Free Marines and Sunset Strikers):

Not "fist of north star" (in french "ken le survivant"  lol ) related, but are the current Copplestone 28mm range the same size today ?

I'm a collector of Warzone 1st edition minis, wich are a bit bigger than the standard 28mm minis. I'd be very happy to find some proxies matching the size of them, especially thinking that copplestone has some really nice sculpts...

thanks

There should be some usable figs in the Spinespur range.
