The Rubble Fortress!
« on: 22 October 2012, 11:04:55 AM »
I had a ton of bits laying about in the terrain building pile. Inspired by a challenge on another forum I set forth to build a fortress. It is made from mostly polystyrene packaging. It all recycled apart from the poster board I used for the bases (even the sand in the textured paint has come from a local beach).

A well set faction had access to some heavy industrial machinery and used large lumps of concrete from the ruins to build the fortress.

Inside the gate. It slides open.

The whole fortress.

Inside the fortress.

I still need to work on some towers, gantry bridges, ladders and steps. But for now I am happy.

Thank you all. I will be adding weathering when time allows - as well as some of the other bits I have promised myself for this set.  lol

That is a pretty awesome fort. My figs only have a few barricades to hide behind... :)
