Deep One Cult
« on: 02 November 2012, 12:52:26 PM »
Getting ready to buy my Cult and I want to do Deep Ones/Hybrids and some humans that worship Dagon. I have seen some minis here and some there, can people recommend their favorites in this category. I am willing to mix lines to get a proper assortment. Thanks....

I have been toying with a Deep One cult too and was leaning towards Black Cat Bases' deep ones, hybrids and fishermen. The prices aren't bad and they have the look about them that I imagine they should. For more information check out the sticky thread on Cthulhu miniatures at the top of the page which has some excellent info.

You can find a lot of pictures on the Strange Aeons subforum.

I have painted Hybrids and Deep Ones from several companies (Uncle Mike“s Worlwide, Black Cat, Rattrap, eM4...) and you can see them on my blog too: http://losingsanity-einarolafson.blogspot.co.uk/search/label/Deep%20One%20Hybrid.

Hope that helps.

I've bought mine from Black cat bases. I like them as they're UK based, reasonably priced and to be honest, they had a sale going when I've ordered mine.

Here is a direct link to Hybrids and Fishmen:

I have also seen some other somewhere, but can't find them now.

I wasn't aware of Brigade games' hybrids, but those look really nice as well.

If you want oversized  deep ones, and a really big one, check out the Carnevale miniatures.
For cultists I use Artizan and Bob Murch pulp figures.

Don't forget Fenris games for some lovely deepones. For the old grenadier miniatures deep ones Tim at miniature heroes sells them.

I've a cthulhu thread knocking about with loads of white metal shots.

This is my deep one cult, almost all Black Cat miniatures.
I would have prefered using the miniatures from Brigade games, but I could not find them in Europe.

RAFM deep ones are nice too. They more frog-like and less human than black cat base, but I like a bit of variety with my fish men.
