Blade figure
« on: November 14, 2012, 06:22:59 AM »
Hello all,

So hero clix especially now can be an amazing place to find amazing sculpts of various superheros.
Not really for Blade:

I personally hate this one:
http://www.amazon.com/HeroClix-Blade-Rookie-Infinity-Challenge/dp/B005NAQPWO

found this one on ebay. Way over priced for the quality:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/CUSTOM-Heroclix-BLADE-VAMPIRE-HUNTER-Figure-Unique-Snipes-Version-Pro-Painted-/260868493057

Then i kinda like this one:

http://www.trollandtoad.com/p120319.html

Are there anymore expensive "not" blades out there or characters that could be easily converted possibly. I tend to keep to the cheap pre painted figure but im annoyed they've remade all the big heros numerous times and blade apparently is gonna sit on the side lines.

Any help with this would be greatly appreciated guys.

Are there anymore? Kinda stinks, i love the musketeer pose but really not the face.  The gear on the west wind is sweet but its just kinda blah. Big kris at musketeer is an awesome Whistler, a little too shaggy but the rest is soo spot on! Bought.

Found this: http://www.ebay.com/itm/BLADE-Marvel-Comics-Vampire-Hunter-2005-Miniature-Buildable-Bandai-PVC-FIGURE-/160902670757?pt=US_Action_Figures&hash=item25768be9a5

love the shape and build. just a fyi if anyone knows of anything else out there.

Never really painted, before any recommendations: like the paintjob on the Big kris is spot on, no idea how to even attempt to replicate it.

http://www.musketeer-miniatures.com/store.php?r=10&rule=Historical&id=34#. Like to try and copy those color would be completely clueless where to begin.

The help so far awesome and any more thanks guys great help.

Im in the US, certain miniature companies have resellers, anyone know if musketeer has one in the US? shipping is not terrible but it would be a little easier.

Don't thank me, thank Andy at Heresy for sculpting such awesome figs  :D

Probably be easier to try to fill it in with Liquid GS or plastic putty than filing it down I would imagine!

IIRC, there's a pretty good not-Blade figure in the Heroscape line (not to be confused with the awful Heroclix one...).
