Should ship in early December was the last word. On the plus side us poor Europeans here on the edge of the civilized world will get our stuff at around the same time as Americans 8)

As everyone who took part in the B4A KS knows, the arrival date for B4A keeps getting pushed back and now looks like it could be around mid-January for Europe, start-thereof for the USAnians, earliest. Also in the latest newletter was that whoever commited to Biohazard or above will be getting a Firebrand "consolation figure" of Vokker Dargu (apparently a different version from the one now available so not a total loss for me). But what I really wanted to point out is Mr. Dargu's "real life" stats:
Quote
Conscript Vokker Dargu

Height: 1.35 meters
Weight: 80 kilograms
Eyes: Cybernetic implants – no retinal imprint
Hair: Black Gene-Index: Human/ Pre-augment
Conscript Inception Date: 201.10.4036 Solar Reckoning
Augments:
• Kyoshi Heavy Industries AG field generator
• Omnium Systems Meta-Cortical implant
• Kyoshi Heavy Industries Integrated Control Optics
He's 1.35 meters tall... O RLY? o_o

I wonder if it was a typo, and should have been 1.53m (still short though). This is in sharp contrast to his very beefy figure - it's very "GW" in size compared to the other firebrand and Vanguard figs.

All that said, I think that the Vanguard are all deliberately supposed to be quite irregular in size when compared to the (literally) more uniform Vanguard...

The current Vokker is definitely the stocky sort, but he's also rather tall while he's at it -- he's bigger than the male Conscript and IIRC about the same size as Barker Zosa:

If standing straight, I'd say the fig's around 36-37mm tall, so assuming IRL height is correct the scale of the game would be closer to 1/40 than to 1/58. And all the humans in the game are in fact "little people" by today's standards. Which would be pretty odd, albeit I suppose explainable in the fluff.

On another forum I was informed that it is a typo.  He is supposed to be 1.95m and 92Kg.  Since I don't have a keyboard where those typos would be likely I still hope the original numbers are good and he is a short hefty super squat. lol

I'm disappointed by the push-backs but appreciate being updated. Looks to me like the fig is the same pose as the current model, 'cept an additional gun in the off hand.

Shame it won't be here for Christmas.

I dunno - gives me time to paint up the minis from the Stonehaven Dwarf Kickstarter that arrived this morning.

And I have January - March to paint up the Sedition Wars and Dreamforge Kickstarters before the house is filled with the Reaper Bones figures...  :o

That would seem a much more obvious measurement, given the size of the miniature.

The word "typo" is a typo. It's supposed to read "cut and paste error". I won't recommend anyone look for a keyboard that produces such typos.

Have to agree, out of the three kickstarters I backed all have been delayed and I seriously doubt I'll see any before Christmas,  which is a pisser I have to say.

At least all have maintained coms at least. Hope the second phase Sedition minis are prompt ly delivered next year.

To be honest, given that the manager for the printing company producing parts for this game did a runner with a large pile of cash, leaving a couple of known companies in the lurch, I'm impressed it's only a few weeks behind. When I heard about that through the grapevine a while back, I was expecting a much bigger delay.
So many projects..... so little time.......
