I got my Leviathan Crusader from DreamForge Games today and took some photos to show off its awesomeness.

Today was better than Christmas.

Look at the size of that base!

Oh my god...

I think most of us hate posts with just a title and a blog link - throw us a couple of teaser shots and we're on it like hungry dogs after a sausage. I don't even know what a Leviathan Crusader is (I assumed it was some new sort of GW GrimDark tank with lots of flamethrowers) but I'm off to check out your awesome war-robot right now.

EDIT: and, ten minutes later, I'm now following your blog. That's the way to do it!

I'd like to see some real close-ups of the sprue.  It looks like some of those kits could be a kit-bashers dream.  I love kitbashing my WF minis already, so boxes of cool techno-parts and cannon wizardry could be really cool.  Did they ever fund the 15mm scale ones --- they'd make cool power suits/drones for different scenarios.

Yes, they did fund the 15mm Leviathans.  I believe they are part of the wave 3 releases.

I haven't had a chance to get to my Leviathan yet, but I have gotten a couple of the infantry together.  The right hand one is a DFG base, the left one is a resin base from Dragon Forge Designs.  These are some really nice kits.

Thanks.  There was a comment on the Kickstarter page somewhere that they would be the same scale, but I don't have any to compare.

It looks a fantastic model.  I got in on a couple of boxes of the troopers, and I may spring for the 15mm Crusader (only 4" tall) to support them when it's released.

This thread is so frustrating for me as I sit here patiently waiting for my Leviathan to arrive!

If I've any spare when they turn up I'll let you know Dan.

Hopefully soon. Itching to see these.

  • I have a bad feeling about this...
Very nice painting.
I agree with your blog comment that she looks like a soldier.

Will she be available when these hit the retail market or was Ada a Kickstarter only mini?

Thanks.
