Use of gliders in 1/72 games
« on: November 15, 2012, 08:30:32 AM »
I recently came across some 1/72 gliders in my local hobby shop and bought a Waco and a Horsa just to make for my small aircraft collection. I have stacks of British and US paras and it got me thinking if I can really use the gliders on table in a game. I play on 2 8x4' tables and the aircraft do sort of take up some room once they add up and I wondered if action really took place that close to the gliders that they need more than a token place on a table edge. I'd also be interested in some pointers to sites on the use of gliders in the Pacific theatre.
