So, just as promised, here´s my take on the Masquerade "Battle Papists".

Not really well done, as I´m always struggling to get dark colours strong and bright. But on the other hand, looks okay for Gothic Horror. And who knows, since they are in almost perfect scale, I might be able to resurrect my abortive (or was that still-born) "Monstre du Montmartre" project.

Nice figures. I got the pewter variants. Good detail and great casting quality, but the splitting is awkward - I spent some good time glueing and cursing the crossbow padre, and that cross on the pistol-wielding not-Jack Palance has a glueing area of about a square millimetre... Worked out okay in the end, but I shudder to think how it´ll stand up to gaming.

Nicely done, I really like the priest and the not Van Helsing. :)

Yeah, I'm going to have to invest in a few Masquerade products, now that they're available in the UK.

Nice Figs Chris, though I have to say that they look even better in real. Maybe you could also show pics of the other three miniatures?

great looking stuff Chris, I like the fact that you used a common color palette across all the figures. Helps unify them. I do hope that I come across some of these in my travels

Speaking of which, is anyone aware of a 28mm orangutang?
