Hopefully Steve won't mind if I share some pictures of the SSS figures that I've painted up so far...  :D

I wonder if anyone will ever paint these with eyes on. I can still make it to be the first I guess.  lol

Lol!

I never do eyes - tried too many times before, and have only spoiled otherwise perfectly adequate paint jobs.

Steve, you're welcome to use them on the site - the last couple are on my desk now, and I'll pop them up on here when they are done too.

I paint eyes more often than not. Sometimes figures just look odd with them.

Love the guy with the scarf around his face.

I love Siku. It's a German make if I'm not mistaken, which explains why it's so common here in Denmark.

Excellent for 28mm I'd say, although not nearly cheap enough (stingy bee here).

Crikey, that was a much more indepth analysis of the SIKU cars than I even contemplated! Thanks for the excellent review and break-down. I'll have to try to eBay seller you mention... although currently I am trying to 'snipe' second-hand lots...

This is a really cool project - love seeing the progress.

I have picked up that Siku Toyota 4x4 and a utility (Siku Ranger) in Australia.

They are great for 28mm, but the Toyota was $4.99 - yikes!!

Agree the mini is a little off. Do you have to base them?
