There's actually a movie about two men who crash with a plane and are chased by a blood thirsty bear (not post-apoc) but still in a cold place so your miniatures could be used. I think the movie was called The Edge or something  ;)

Great call!

..... Double bonus: it also has Elle Macpherson!

Updates might seem a tad slow but I am frantically beavering away behind the scenes!

Vehicles plus ICE Troopers on the painting desk

Snow Trac metal masters are being tweaked

More minis are in the mould making and casting queues

More minis have been commissioned

Rules update and supplement moving forward

But for now, a sneak peak of an assembly from our forthcoming three figure pack of multipart Shamblers.

Like the Ragers, the pack will comprise:

- 4 heads
- three left arms
- three right arms
- three torsos
- three pairs of legs

For info, the Ragers can be seen here:

A wordy update*

*subtitled: The merry go round of a wargaming enterprise that while seemingly resulting in many frustrations brings with it the likelihood of a noggin a la Monsieur Malamute with a consequent reduction in hairstyling expenses that perpetuates the merry go round by releasing additional funds to invest in minis

Sooooo, I've had a number of questions as to where I'm at so this is a summary of what's on the go:

Painting Table
- ICE Troopers
- vehicles
- tents

Moulding Queue
- parts for snow trac kit
- 3-pack of multipart shamblers (zombies/infected)
- survivor with compound bow/axe
- survivor with flamethrower
- survivor with big sword
- survivor with chainsaw
- female shambler
- male shambler
- casualty in armchair
- 2 wolf conversions
- a few minis already in store with degraded moulds

Casting Queue
- everything in the moulding queue
- numerous restocks

Writing Table
- tweaks to the core rules
- pulling together of the supplement to include infected (zombies, vampires, monsters) advanced weapons and vehicles

Sculpts Commissioned
- 2 ICE Troopers (sniper & flamethrower)
- 2 Winter Militia**

** a new addition to the overall range: AKs, chest rigs, balaclavas, etc

Sculpts specced out but yet to be commissioned (subject to sales)
- more survivors
- more ICE troopers
- more Winter Militia
- The Abomination***

***cross check against monster in the rules supplement!

Terrain Building
- more vehicles are in hand (inclu helicopter)
- the board to widen with a further run of tiles for central buildings
- my Aliens colony building is being recycled to become part of a multi level base for the ICE Troopers, that will attach to the end of the urban table

So quite a bit to be getting on with.

Time wise, painting should complete this week, followed by moulding and casting then the rules writing stuff.

It's a borough in London!  :D

Nice update Steve. I'm looking forward to hearing more on the Abomination. It's not a back door way of sneaking a polar bear in, is it?

I can sympathise, mate, there is always something else to do...some people just have to keep busy, dont they?
 ;)

Now you are making me wary of selling stuff as I really don't fancy having a right old shiny bonce like Mama, I don't think it would suit me at all.
 ::)

Looking forward to seeing what you come up with next.
