Kulten Is Growing!!!

Just got a new text file printed off to do another batch of editing and playtesting and was amazed to discover that Kulten is now 144 pages long...

It grows and expands! Ia! Ia!

And some of us play-testers wonder if we keep losing because you keep changing the rules or... Nah, I've seen you roll dice...even changing the rules on the fly wouldn't help all that often. Nevermind!

Ah, the editorial process. It'll eventually be back down to 50-60 pages. Maybe. Just depends on whether you can handle Obsidian whooping you up once you've trimmed out all the "Uncle Mike's Sure Fire Win" rules.

Well I know that if I do win against Uncle Mike's crew James or someone else will obligingly decimate my cultists soon enough. Or my Threshold list for that matter.

Looking forward to another revision of Kulten though!

Got a few pieces of art. They look wonderful. We went with a new artist on this project and his stuff really adds a nice feel to the thing. Super excited!!! And don't even get me started on the new models!

Did you end up going with your plan to incorporate the additional rules that appeared in the "Strange Aeons" magazine (like the damned altar, resonator etc)?

Did you end up going with your plan to incorporate the additional rules that appeared in the "Strange Aeons" magazine (like the damned altar, resonator etc)?

After much deliberation, we decided to keep the Arcane Relics in Strange Aeons only - they'll appear in the second edition (and possibly sooner through other channels  ).  Kulten will instead feature "Dirty Tricks", which are like an expanded selection of Plot Points.
