Finished my first character - Adelwealh, champion of our Saxon Lord!

What can I say - every tale needs a Vader.  lol

He's apparently both adventurous and has a lust for power. 32 years old.

Oh, and the 6 strapping lads are new as well.

The last of my duguth are done now.

Think I finally found a nice recipe for shields... battle damage! lol

I wasn't entirely happy with Adelwealh so I added a bit to his shield:

Really impressive. It's great seeing this project come together from the very start. Keep Em coming. How many more do you guys have to paint before we see the games begin?

I'm down to twelve warriors and two characters left on the painting tray. The last of the pueri are just awaiting their shields.  :D

We've both been aiming for the end of the month. But all too soon will come the need for foederati, horsemen etc.  ;)
