Bruce's Revenge
« on: 27 November 2012, 01:04:26 AM »
We played scenario #2 last night, and decided to use the same leagues from last time.
I rolled for the plot points and got:
Injured Agent: Special Agent Molly Pixler returns from the last scenario. Injured while escaping the pirates, she is hiding near the temple.
Jade Falcon: A native treasure or worthless curio?
Clever Scientist: Dr. Dieterle enters the story, but how is he involved with Pop Top – Prisoner or Partner?
Bloodstained Journal: It’s Dieterle’s journal, but whose blood?
Hidden Chemical: Small vials of Dieterle’s mysterious experiments.

We decided the doctor would be the major plot point this time. And I rolled “Upstanding Citizen” and “Revenge” for the motives.
Hot on Pop Top’s trail, Bruce Kane and his trusty sidekicks learn of the pirate-king’s new whereabouts from a friendly native. They are also warned about Pop Top’s strange activities around an abandoned temple. What nefarious scheme is the villain up to? There will be no escape for Pop Top this time, Bruce will have his revenge!

Here are the markers we used for the plot points.

Dad used the Backup he earned in the last game and picked up another Follower (for this one scenario). But he held on to the Gear point he had.
I rolled for my new gadgets and decided to take a Utility Belt for Barbara and Gadget X for Bruce. I held on to my 1 Contact point.

I won the roll for starting Initiative! Set up for this scenario lets you spread your characters all around the table. The pic below shows some of the starting deployments.

Please go ahead and check out the rest of the action at the link below :D

Please excuse my ignorance but what rules are you using? They sound very interesting (what with utility belts, unseen peril cards etc).

Oh yeah... Nice write up too!
 ;)
Below is a link to my blog. It's the place where I write uninteresting things about little toy soldiers. I do this because I refuse to grow up and behave like an adult.

We're using our own Pulp Alley rules which is a game we've been working on. The game is nearing it's final stages of development. You can check it out if you want at the links I have in my signature :)
