Zombicide Survivors [job done!]
« on: 27 November 2012, 10:56:50 PM »
One for starters anyway. Got 9 to do and this is the first of them.

Just a quick pic so I'll do a better one once he's based up.

Might do the cop type guy next.

Wow, outstanding gradients and color choices.

Any chance of a tutorial on your painting technique?

I never have a thing to say about SCL's painting ability or style.
I dont however like the sculpting of this fig's neck. Seems out of place.
I do so love the shirt equation as well. Though, from whom i understand this is modeled after, it should have the symbol of the Flash instead. :-)
And i so love the lightsabre every time i see it on this fig. So fitting. :-)

Bazinga! Terrific brushwork here, I love the subtle yellow-orange highlights on the shirt. And the limited palette of browns you used for the face and skin works great.

At some point I'll do tutorial type stuff. Still photo's never quite work for me, at least for showing paint application and brushwork so I'm looking at getting a video camera. Maybe Santa will bring me one?  ;)

Thanks for the comments everyone by the way.
