Studio Miniatures: Zombie Mob 7 Painted
« on: November 29, 2012, 04:44:48 PM »

Just finished up Mob 7 from Studio Miniatures.  I'm a big fan, some very unique zeds in here.  I have also started backing my photos out a bit.  You see a little less detail, but for less of my imperfections.  Plus its a more realistic view of the 28 mm figures, and more forgiving to a painter of my calibre.

Thanks for looking.

Looking good Adam. Especially like the big bird in the track suit. What software do you use for your photos?

Thanks!
I use Corel Photoshop to crop and resize my images, but I don't do any more alterations than that.

They look good! I specially like the skin-tone of the guy on the far left on the top row, and on the girl undeneath :)

Looking great! You had me worried for a sec, I was afraid the guy on the top right was zombified Jack Burton, but we all know he wouldn't go out that way! :P

Also, I feel your pain on the backing the camera out issue. When I paint something and think, "Dang, good job. That mini looks pretty darn good!" and then snap a photo of it... looking at it on the big screen, I think I know how an aging actor feels watching themselves on an HD screen.
