Impressive job on these dwarves. They look better than on the GW site

oh i have looked at the german page.

and i'm aproved, that gw could sell shit, the people would buy it!

65 € for a rulebook!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
http://www.games-workshop.com/gws/catalog/productDetail.jsp?catId=cat970005a&prodId=prod1820028a

60 € for four PLASTIC miniatures...oh i forget they call that 'finecast'...so they can demand every price...

YEAH! the 'games-workshop-hobby' is great, at least for gw...

Not sure this is the place for another GW bashing.

Lovely paintwork. I'm still stilly surprised by the styling of the dwarves in The Hobbit, especially compared to Gimli in LotR. They seem almost human, rather than dwarf, do you have any other LotR so we can see height comparisons?
But back on thread great paintwork again and I'm impressed you can paint one up a day.

As you can see there are huge differences about the dwarf heights.

I agree with Quendil on both counts: the minis are WONDERFUL little creations, AND the thread is a treat to follow. GREAT WORK!

These are getting better and better! Though I admit my favourite so far is Dwalin. ;)

I'm quite enjoying this...also great to see such good paint jobs to give a different perspective from the GW painted versions.

That "tall dwarf" is ridiculous, but your painting is sublime.  :-*

Absoloutely lovely paintjob on these miniatures. A lovely idea too that I wish I did myself! Unfortunately I have a few miniatures in the way left to do. I have started the goblins though myself!

Very inspiring though, keep it up, I know it will be hard but it would be fantastic to see them all in your great painting style.

I particularly like your paintjob on Dwalin. :)
