The Victorian Outpost

Its a new gaming place in Grimsby with new terrain and new scenery, lots of respect for all wargamers and is the best place to game in town.

Anybody who wishes to visit the venue to arrange a game then  just pm me and lets roll those dice.

Very nice. I always wanted to do a mixed naval/land battle (Galveston always peaked my interest) but never did. What rule system did you use and tell me more about how the game went.

Rules were Black Powder, the navel rules i will have to find out how they fitted in, ther Confeds never expected a land invasion that was kept in the dark so everything was focus on the boats.Anyway the Confeds were outnumbered 2-1 on land, but they managed to get into position and check the advance, artillery on the coast just smashed up the boats and the Iron clads went into retreat.
More of a difference in this kind of game because two sets of rules have to mingle into each other as Black Powder does not have Sea battles...Will ask the rules this Monday how they did it.
