wanted - ideas for non-Swastika symbol for WWW2 ?

Does it really? Never knew that... Did it feature in Nazi iconography then? (No pictures in reply please).

It wasn't exactly used by the Nazis themselves (who were rather busy rebranding the Swastika as a "Germanic" symbol), but as displayed in the picture of Giovanni Alemanno, neofascist groups used it due to the similarity. So, in the combination of red field, white circle, black symbol, it falls under the legal provisions. It is the "so similar a casual observer can confuse them", or rather, it is patently obvious what the brown buggers are trying to pull off.

No problems with Anglo-Saxon warriors wearing them as pendants, or having a couple in an Irish church yard as a backdrop to the Battle of the Boyne or something similar.

That one is a bit tricky. Per se, the BUF is not a "criminal organisation" as defined by the Nuremberg trials. Used on the union jack as shown by you, it should be perfectly fine. If presented in a fashion more similar to the nazi flag (e.g. red field, white circle, black lightning), it could be problematic, as it then resembles the SS runes (or rather, a single pseudorunic "s"). White, silver or gold lightning on a blue field should be okay, too.

maybe you can put turtle legs in a different way so they do not look like a swastika and do not put inside a red with a white circle flag.

Thanks for the illumination. It's most commonly used as this http://th00.deviantart.net/fs70/150/f/2011/263/d/e/b_u_f__flag_by_greatkingpest-d4aea5z.png in VBCW so I think it's possibly okay, plus there's no glorification of it, Moseley and his band of cranks are still widely loathed to this day amongst those who know who he was.
