Meh, nothing amazing. Then again I'm more of a fantasy freak.

Ah, great: more "obviously-not-Mass Effect-inspired" designs I see.

Also, in order to be more engaging, I personally think that these info blurbs desperately need to be written by somebody who can:

1) Write well

2) Spell properly in English

"Plasma carbines are duel function weapons". Classic.  ::)

Here are some actually produced miniatures. Looking forward to seeing how the rest of the stuff looks once it is actually made.

I've now completely forgotten how to spell the other 'duel'. Dule? Nope. Dewl? Nope. Dammit!

To point out a few more derpy bits:

Quote
The ruling elite of the Concord is the race of tall, gracile human morphs called New Humans or NuHu

In English, you normally use the word "graceful" rather than "gracile", and even then the whole quoted sentence is just awkward and ungainly when you read it.

Quote
These aloof Mandarins are co-evolved with the Integrated Machine Intelligence, or IMTel, that controls human societies within the Concord.

What now? That whole sentence may as just well read "Blah, blahblah blah blah blah"! Are these New Humans all Chinese then, or is that a class-reference? If it's a class reference, I think it was covered by "ruling elite" in the previous sentence.

I know I'm nit-picking in a miserly sort of way here, but these blurbs are supposed to get me interested in the game-world of BtGoA. Instead they are filled with waffle that's hard to read, hard to understand, and even harder to care about - further compounded by a sense that the author of these feels much the same way, but still wants you be invested anyway.  :?

They look like a race of the Fantastic 4 guy....  I'm really not impressed with this game at all.  It feels like they're not sure what to do, need to try and make themselves different, and yet also have that eye catching 'thing'.  It just doesnt seem to be here.  Bummer, I hoped for more.

If they'd actually just got the Mass Effect licence I'd probably have been quite interested.
