What I painted in December 2012
« on: 22 December 2012, 12:55:22 PM »
Well, I wanted to start this yesterday as a major wrap-up right before the apocalypse à la "What I painted in my this-wordly life". But it seemed too much a hassle, so I thought better - and justly so by the look of it! lol

Thus, here's what I've done during December (holidays not counting). Commission work all the way.

1/72 Pirates (Germania)

40mm Napoleonic French (Perry)

28mm Late Medievals (Perry)

More to follow, but that's it for now.

Those french are great! And the tabards on the WotR-era figures is just amazing. I love the subtle plaid of the fellow in the right, and the blue and gold dragon rampant is so crisp!

I joined my gun with pirate swords, and sailed the seas of cyberspace.

Maybe it's just because they're based, but the Naps look excellent  8)
Well I've lead an evil life, so they say, but I'll outrun the Devil on judgement day.

Many thanks, mates, I feel humbled. :)

FramFranson, sorry for being unprecise. These figs are from the Perries' slightly earlier Azincourt range. And my apprehension in regard of the leopard being unrecognisable seems confirmed. lol

Bugsda, you're right, the job isn't finished without a proper base. In the cases shown, however, the customers preferred doing the basework themselves. Hence all the laurels for the Frenchies' bases have to be redirected to Lt. Hazel who prepared them in advance. ;)

Anyway, enough of my humble efforts. Please step forward with your own, everyone!

Rather a good month for me :

1 Zombicide Zed

2 Studio Miniatures Zeds

2 Supermutants (conversions : left = HF Jotun, right = Dreamblade Butcher)

a rusty tractor

2 totem poles (toys - found in a bitz box)

2 cactii (probably from the same set as the totem poles)
Do not meddle in the affairs of dragons,
for you are crunchy and taste good with ketchup.
