With December always being a bit busy and a bigger tabletop-project finished just in time in November, I lost time on painting and the creative urge, too. Anyway, over the past holidays I finished an 'ad hoc' battalion of Light Bobs for my AWI-British. Next year I'll purchase the officers - out of money this time.  :(

I've painted perry acw plastics... this has a reason to it...
My father is also a wargammer (one of the first ones in Portugal)... but he left playing for some decades, when I was young he had a great collection of 20mm plastic acw miniatures, and the old west was always a big love of him!
With the release of these new miniatures I'm trying to get him back into gamming! I've tried before with the lead cowboys... but he really loves plastics and spend whole afternoons converting them (go figure... most likely because in the 70's he had only airfix soldiers to work with), so finally he has got some enthusiasm in painting wargamming miniatures. He is painting confederates and I am painting the unionists!

so this is my current project (the ww1 1914 french are on wait), hope you like them! :)
Cheers,
Pedro

Vey nice fellas, I'm always jealous of people that can do proper historical stuff, I just don't have the patience to get it just right.

My only finished piece this month was my entry for the Unofficial LAF Xmas Painting Competition:

Oi - hold on guys, there are still a few days left! Give me a minute to grab my brushes and finish off a few minis so I can make the deadline...

I've got a Cuirassier on foot that I'm trying to finish by tomorrow night.  Hope I do, then that would be 2!

I managed to get a strange collection of things done this month, but it was a more gaming, less painting month really.

The Ice Goblin players of Skrote Uniteed, my current Blood Bowl Team.

The very first completed squad for our fictional countries modern skirmish games, a unit of Mechanised Infantry for The Workers Republic of Borkova.

A few more transports for my WWII German forces, I'm building up quite a good convoy now ready to be ambushed by the Resistance.

I didn't get the other Kubelwagen finished this month, but I did get the crew done.

I managed to retrieve these from the unfinished pile , as they only had a base paint so we could use them for a game two years ago :(
They were meant to be grey with a sand wash and grey drybrush but they ended up this color  :o oh well I like them. ::)

Hi, Dan - glad to see that you survived the visit to Thailand!

I don't normally post in these "What I painted in..." threads, but December was more than usually productive for me:

Dodge - love your Olivier Henry V mini - great stuff!

Slim pickings from me this month. Real life intervening etc. On the other hand, there were several conversions:

Red Supreme Dalek tutorial previously posted in Future Wars. There would have been more Cybermen if BTD had sent them with the rest of my order - this one was just a cheap snag off eBay.

Plus some Micro Universe Slitheen:

The second from the left is the original mini, the others have had their arms snipped and wired for new poses to introduce a bit of variation, then a few washes and highlights and they were done in no time.

A lot more next month, hopefully!
