Moles of Grimdark (40k)

Started painted my new SM chapter.

They're from the planet Grimdark which has more holes than a swiss cheese due to the native giant moles.

The chapter uses the same moles as their symbol and they make extensive use of drilling machinery, bulldozers and diggers.

I've had the idea of a digging space marine chapter for a while now, but couldn't be bothered to do it. I'm sure you have thought of this as well, but the ramshackle games drill contraption would make for a great alternative drop pod. Actually it would explain the whole avoid terrain special rule a lot better.

Yep exactly what the plan is. Curtis of Ramshackle helped me with the design of the chapter logo as well so it's all in motion already. 

I'm probably going to scratchbuild any vehicles they need as well and a few drilly bits to add to the front end will be invented. Oh yeah.
