Time to introduce myself.
I've been roaming the forum for a good 2 months now I think.
I'm a 35 year old dad of 2, from the Netherlands and play mostly GW.
Lately I've been broadening my horizons and started/got my eyes on some other games.
Also my game group is starting to introduce miniatures in our RPG campaigns.
I consider myself a mediocre modeller. I can create some nice stuff, but it won't win competitions.
Luckily that's not my ambition (wouldn't mind though) and my production output is higher than most people I've played with over the years.
Some of the fine stuff on this forum has me inspired to up my game a bit, so I thought this a good moment to share with you the first experiment to better my scenery collection.
It is meant to be pretty multipurpose, so now world specific details.
I must say it looks better irl. The photo really picks up on the flaws, but you get the idea.
particularly the white in the straw doesn't show at all in real life.
So anyway, merry Christmas, thanks for the inspiration and you'll see me around.
I'm off to my parents to over eat.
