Very nice really like it.

Vehicle lovely. What is it and where did you get it?

As has been already posted, it's a 1918 Crossley.  If you're looking for one I can tell you that mine is marked Matchbox No. Y-13 Models of Yesteryear 1918 Crossley R.A.F. Tender.  It has a Copyright date of 1973.  I picked mine up in the late 1970's or early 1980's.  It's a funny thing.  I painted mine almost exactly the same color.  You can see it at the HLSS photo section with a few of my adventurer minis and the Airfix bamboo Japanese command post.  I was going to use it to transport "Banana Republic" Marines around a jungle environment, but obviously it can be used to transport anyone or anything.  I'm still working on it.  I've removed the front seat to make room for a figure or figures.  I'll probably just cover the hole and leave it that way.  It's kind of cramped with the seat in.  You can't see it in the photo at this site, but the bed isn't entirely flat.  There are cargo hold/seats running along each side of the bed, which makes it tough to put minis back there.  It's cast that way, so you can't remove the cargo holds.

One of the Scarborough seafront gift shops had some Matchbox trucks this summer (next to the tasteless Titanic souvenirs and dubious wooden trawlers) - though the only ones I remember specifically are the German brewery wagon and the one with the large engineering cargo - about £4 or £5 a pop so we didn't look too closely at the time (and besides, we were actually looking for 1/56th scale Cortinas). I'll try to look next time I'm there to see if they have any Y13/Crossleys.

I think he's a Blue Moon figure, but I am sure JB will be along soon enough to advise us. They are a cracking bunch of figures.

Quite right, Malamute, he is Blue Moon from the Mummy adventure boxed set.

A fine set of miniatures all round, really. Underneath all the flash...  ::)

Edited for linky.

You may think of me as drastic, but I am considering putting Blue Moon on my shit list for selling their miniatures in batches of, like, fifty. Among each set there are generally only on or two I fancy.

Well, they are affiliated to Old Glory after all.  ;)

I dunno, I think the scenario-specific boxes are really good as starter sets and introductions to a particular genre, and you get a nice selection of characters in them. I'd probably buy another couple if the mood struck me.

The reason I'd put them on The List is more to do with the typical OG random attitude to quality and the amount of time you have to spend cleaning the figures before you paint them. Unfortunately, the scenario boxes come completely sealed in cardboard, so even if I was buying at a show I wouldn't be able to pick and choose a reasonably sound one.
