Wow.

Hulking spiky armoured guys.

Ain't seen those before.
If your being ironic and mean that you have seen a lot like this before can you please tell me where?
I am aware of the Sthaler figure but that is much slimmer and not bulky like this.
This guy look awesome! I sure hope mantic does not mess up the concept when they make him as miniature. I must have this figure!

Mantids latest newsletter shows a scifi zombie horde leader. Not the same as this guy though.

Looks like they're rereleasing the mixed sprue bags from Halloween, with a Leader fig.

Might be good for all those 40k Players wanting armies of Plague Zombies (which might also be why they're releasing it...?).

All life is an experiment.
The more experiments you make, the better.

35 to a box which just happens to be max size of Cultist/Zombie squads for Chaos Space Marines. They'd make nice Nurgle cultists too I reckon. Presumably there's enough guns in the box to give each one some kind of rifle weapon. :D

Also I really like this dude.

Will try and pick him up at some point.

I was just going to post that exact comment. With the big box you can get which includes the enforcer models that would be your Nurgle marines. I'm tempted... again.

They look a bit silly...but in an original Necromunda or possibly some weird Judge Dredd kind of way (plagued portion of the city etc.).

Meh.  Doesn't really tickle my fancy, but I never have issue with more models/miniatures being available.

Honestly?   ::)

No interest, no attraction, no passionate love or hatred.  Bored.   :(   indifferent.   :`.

I am sure I will be in a minority here but seems derivative at best.

And not even derivative of something other than more of the same.

Gracias,

Glenn

I don't understand half you folks.

These are way better than practically the rest of the sci fi stuff they came out with; those Battlesuited humans probably the only other thing coming close.

Don't get me wrong, I'am utterly disenchanted with how they have gone about things, they have practically dropped any real development of their fantasy franchise, the majority of their sci fi franchise is poor, and has no solid armies at all, and this dreadball thing (despite their miniatures being okey) is just a waste of space imo. And it pisses me of they are constantly of on a 'kickstarter' footing.

But these are actually good. Post-apoc gamers should be all over these, and they will probably have uses for other sci fi games.

I don't get the comment where they are 'cartoony'; I mean the list for none cartooney looking 28mm sci fi figs is going to be pretty small. Aside from the awesome stuff you can get from Hasslefree and Antenociti, and to some extent Pig Iron, other games like 40K, Copplestone Future wars, EM4, Void, Urban mammoth are all on the fat cartooney side depending on how you look at it.

I also don't get the derivative idea. Derivative of what? Some crappy looking figure from 1995?? And if so, well I have no issue with a nigh 20 year old concept being recycled and modernized. If they came out with something utterly new and original, I bet NO ONE would buy it because gamers rarely purchase and put money into truely unique products. We go on and complain about nothing original but then rarely properly support (i.e give them money instead of just saying how great they are, and providing largely pointless feedback of what we want) companies or individuals who appear with a totally new concept.

Apologies for having a go. But I just find the criticism made thus far is not solid enough. By all means, hate them as much as you like, I personally won't purchase zip from them until they carry on/reveal/release something far more substantial with their fantasy stuff.

According to their forum, the game will have plastic modular buildings:

I was disappointed my pre-order experience/the service I got from Mantic over the Enforcers, but there are too many excellent alternatives to get in a general snit at the company. Modular buildings do interest me and the big guy is pretty cool. I hope I can purchase him separate. The mutant hillbillies have cross-game potential, but IMO, Big Ugly Skull Head doesn't match their vibe.
