Funnily enough the guy who does Sedition wars sculpts for them so I'd be ready for a bit of similarity.

On another note, can't wait, I haven't liked the majority of their sci fi figs thus far, but if this is gunna be anything like the new fantasy sculpts coming out, they'll be a blast.

Well, it's obviously not not-Tyranids, so hopefully Mantic are finally coming out of their shell a bit? Concept looks pretty cool to me, and I'd certainly be interested to see what they come up with model-wise.

Looks like it extends to the fluff as well. But as they say, "in space there are no completely new concepts". It's called the Copernican principle of miniature gaming

Anyhow, not my cuppa but it doesn't hurt me that they are still doing stuff. Eventually they'll come up with something (else besided the Enforcers and some Dreadball minis) that I actually am likely to get at some point.

I don't think the concept looks anywhere near original, heck it even has a skull as a focal point. And yet, and yet I like it for some reason. I think I might spring for some of these some time, could think of a few ways to use them.
