Re: Agis Horus Heresy Marines - update May 31- EC and Robots

Another collaboration of Peter and me:

The Emperors Children Legion Champion in his Mk IV Armour, Iron Halo and Jump Pack.
I only had to retouch the hairs, some highlights here and there, apply the transfers and paint the base.

Also new are some Robots:

The above minis are from Anvil Industry; ARC Trooper range.
Very nice and clean cast Robots.
I am still not sure if I am going to use them in a Terminator setting or as Adeptus Mechanicus Tech Thralls.

Why not both.  :D

TRUE,  ;) the difference is the colour choice, for Terminator I would not use the deep red...

Those Anvil miniatures look fantastic, but everything on this thread is beautiful.

I actually avoid this thread sometimes as it makes think about all sorts of ridiculous Space Marine painting plans that I havent attempted since about 1990 or so.  Siren call indeed.

Wonderful and inspiring work Agis.

Wonderful smooth and subtle paintwork as usual.
 :-* :-*

I would go the AdMech route with the robots.
It just seems 'right' to me.

Next addition, an EPIC scale Fellblade!
The Fellblade is - like the Iron Hand Sicaran - a private sculpt of a fellow enthusiast and not commercially available.

Lovely. Epic tanks look great on round bases. Would've never thought to try that. Think I might "borrow" the idea.  :D

True, it is a shame that GW did not support EPIC Armageddon with a dedicated Horus Heresy game.
IMO they would do even better with a 15mm game like FoW!
