Just a couple of random Future Shock (Prince August) miniatures that I have probably had 25+ years....


Man with briefcase likely for use as a VIP.  Other painted as a 'Roboman' style minion.

I dunno, about 25 years ago I had a phone that size.
And a mate of mine had one that had a battery that you carried around with it and said battery was about the size of that briefcase....

Checking the Lost Minis Wiki, they have a Dragon magazine advert from Feb 1988 that certainly features the 'Roboman'. So even older than I thought.

Spectrum Is Green

I finally completed my Spectrum cast with the Angels and 3 Security Specialists.  The rest were previously painted for LPL11 (but I forgot to post them here).

Good God but that takes me back. I had all the Captain Scarlet vehicles as a kid (that really was long long ago!) and I remember playing with them in a huge pile of builders’ sand in the back garden that got left behind after some building work at my childhood home... Ah... If only I’d kept those lovely toys pristine instead of grinding them into the sandy battlefield, they’d be worth a fortune today
