Sangennaru, may I ask how much (ballpark figure) does it cost to have such piece laser cut? Is the cut material plywood/MDF or something else?

thanks everyone! =)

a little progress on the first floor. i plan to have two versions, here is the non-damaged one. the other one will have quite a bigger hole and several bulletholes around!

the material is cardboard, a high quality cardboard that works pretty well for my purpose, and it's cheaper than mdf.
the cost is cheap, around 10 euros for the 3 facades. their website is
http://www.vectorealism.com/
I highly reccomend them.

EDIT:
here's another photos. The windows and such will be included laser cut directly, because cleaning such a thin resin piece would be a mess. here's how it could look. I've to work on some doors as well.

Ok, thanks again. Say, since you have done the facades in 3d-program, might it not be easy to downscale into 1/72, and then do the laser cut thing? ;)

shure thing!
But the most time-consuming steps are the assembling of the cuts, the inter-moulding, the aging and cleaning and such!
If i will have more people asking for those i'll do for shure!

I'm crazy fast today:

two different second floors plus two versions of the first floor. one has a veeery damaged part after a heavy HMG fire, with three bricks gone, leaving a sight of the inside.

Like what you have done so far.
Hope you decide to sell the finished buildings.

Actually i will try to sell the masters to some company, maybe expanding the project to a whole building. If i won't i will certainly sell the facades privately!

(EDIT: maybe i posted in the wrong section? This thread should probably be in the Workbench, right?)

shure, you will! =)

Here's my first two casts. I had a problem with the mould, so it seems that i have to make the mould again for those two. Anyone interested in buying the old mould? There's only a damage on one point of the basic floor (you can see it on the right), but it's enough for me to make a new one!

here's me putting the laser cut windows. not very convinced, there must be a better method!

These look great, I can already see a small part of town made from these! How much for the "poor" mold?  o_o

Guys,
A brief tutorial on my work is here concentrated, you can take a look! I'll continue posting here the progresses of my work, though :)

I don't know, i still have to figure out it. probably something around 30, does it make sense? If you cast in plaster you can damage differently any model, and this will give you quite a HUGE variety for a lane!
On the other side, you might want more different models than one... Dunno :)
