I like Abe and the Squaw.

The rest I can happily live without - especially as I don't need another Werewolf.

BTW, what or who is banana fingers sculpt in the bottom pics on the left supposed to be?  :o

If I paid $65 up front for $35 worth of miniatures I'd be pretty pissed off...

And How

I'm assuming the Indiegogo didn't succeed or I'd expect a riotous amount of bad press though.  If, in the end, miniatures were produced and sold for less - then good.

Oh no, it succeeded. I was a backer & I'm still trying to figure this out....I'm trying to figure out how this seems to work out better if you never backed at all.... :?
I am looking for the following Deadlands minis:  Shotgun Thug, Lost Soul, Cleaners, Railroad Workers & Feral Dead. If you have any of these minis, or if you are one, please send me a PM.

At this point, I'd expect them to ship you either double the minis or some additional minis or something.  That's a pretty crap deal.  I'll refrain from saying any more since I'm not involved, but screw that noise.  :-[

So, just to get it right, did they sell the greens before they actually produced any minis to Ainsty?
How much money did they got funded?

The IndieGoGo campaign was successful: http://www.indiegogo.com/weird-west-miniatures
and everyone who contributed to that campaign will get the rewards that they contributed towards. These are going out in the mail this week and they should be receiving them soon.

Now that this is wrapped up, the figures have been acquired by Ainsty Castings. Ainsty can make different choices about what to charge for the miniatures.

Sure thing, Ainsty can do what ever they want regarding pricing.

Just wondered if you ever produced minis by yourself before line/greens got sold?

We had them sent out to be cast (we don't have a spin-caster to do that ourselves). Here they are coming out of the mould: https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=10151296967714732&set=a.429956639731.204777.5549814731&type=1

We tried to keep everyone updated on the post-campaign progress via IndieGoGo, Facebook, G+ and Twitter.

It was only in the last couple of weeks that we made the decision that the numbers didn't add up* for us to do this in a sustainable way and made the decision to sell them to Ainsty.

* IndieGoGo Fees + Sculpting + Moulds + Casting + Bases + Art/Design + Printing + Packaging + Shipping(Canada Post Sucks!) + Website + % for distribution/retailers + Misc (PayPal etc)  adds up to a lot more than we thought for us to do this as we'd planned when we launched the IndieGoGo campaign. The idea was that profit would go back into paying for more miniatures to be made -- but those numbers weren't going to work for that (what profit? :)) so we decided this was a better idea.
