Prime with the Halfords dark brown camo then paint up with Foundrys terracotta shade, British red coat shade and then bright red shade.

Gents, really appreciate all the comments  :)

As promised here's the mounted WotR character, Sir John Aspley himself  :)

No varnish as I'm really pleased with the sheen on the armour and I don't want to risk spoiling it, it might just mean a touch up on the feathers every now and then...




Going to put these to one side for now as I've got lots of other things to be doing  :D

Oh yes, nearly forgot, lovely work on those metallics James.  :D

I think you're quite right, matt varnish would kill the sheen on the mounted gent.
