Gents, really appreciate all the comments

As promised here's the mounted WotR character, Sir John Aspley himself

No varnish as I'm really pleased with the sheen on the armour and I don't want to risk spoiling it, it might just mean a touch up on the feathers every now and then...

Going to put these to one side for now as I've got lots of other things to be doing

Other than that a bit more Boshin, some more samurai of course, a bit of Akira and I fancy some Musketeers gaming along with the usual projects

Oh yes, nearly forgot, lovely work on those metallics James.

I think you're quite right, matt varnish would kill the sheen on the mounted gent.
