Sorry to hear about your misfortune.
Hope things turn out for the best. (a new job might already be a step in the good direction  :))

Rejigged the shoulders to get the right shape, need a bit of work. D:

And then I compared it to my L4D Tank figure..

I wonder who'd win?
If you'd like an apocalyptic monster in 28mm, throw me a PM and I'll think it over.

Do not abandon hope (I tell myself). Project still trying to survive.

I hit sculptors block over and over again, trying to work out how to do the claws.

It's new to me. I don't ever "do" hands, and if I do... It's horribly bad. I'm trying right now to do little bits at a time, while also allowing myself to "relax" with a centaur/ FEV failure selection..

*Gets up next morning realising I left this written and unposted*
So, I cracked on shortly after writing. His hands have thumbs, now! x3

Judging by no comments, it sounds Like I'm taking far too long on this thing. D:

Well I have some photos. I'm not too happy with how little I have done, but it's getting there.

I decided to be courageous and just *try* the bits I was worrying and fussing over (tail and hands) and I'm fairly happy with the progress and shape. c:

I re-shaped the neck a bit, I made a decent fit too. I've JUST got hold of the perfect way to finish the lower legs.

Nice job! I like how the model looks.  Would not mind letting my players meet a Deathclaw during a game, oeven if only to make them wonder how they hell they can get out alive  lol
Why aim for gold if you can get lead?

I'd say you're doing great work on the claws. You can just be brave like I am and sculpt onto strings of putty that are on the hands, or use thin wires from telephone wires or something.

Yeah, nice work on the model - including the claws and beginnings of the tail. Keep it up!

I'd tell you to take your time, but that would be a lie  ;)
Seriously, that's growing into a mighty fine mini (or by the size of it : maxi...)

Oh man, I feel so good when I finally finish little bits like this...
I got on with the arms for my baby Deathclaw (it'll be more like a hatchling really, barely being 25mm tall)

There has been work done to the Deathclaw, but nothing notable enough for photos, yet. I sculpted the palms so that it's easier to place the other fingers and I have worked up the segments of the tail a bit more.

I also "have" that job I mentioned, though it's proving an awful lot of hassle. 0-hour contract and they've not even called me to arrange my training!

Oh, I made a mould of the Deathclaws head. Soon, I will go bother the guy I gave my resin to and make a couple of casts so I can make it... Well, better. I might even try one with an open mouth!

Little bit more work done lately. I lost one of the spines, but it's hardly a hassle to make a new one (Just imagine it looked awesome!)

I made a cast of the head, chopped up the copies to repose them/ correct their proportions. The result has been difficult to photograph. D: I also added... dum dum dum...
Another set of fingers. ._.
Did more work on the tail, started on the feet, reworked the neck muscles..

Vague post is vague. Also short.
