Rogue Trooper? That sounds familiar. I am sure there's already a board game and a range of miniatures (from the late '80's i think). Or are these long out of production?

Looooong OOP. Also, a pretty tedious slog to play, and the models are very limited. I think Citadel (who did the boardgame) also put out a small line of Rogue Trooper minis. Foundry and Bronze Age also do some Rogue Trooper figures (which are still available AFAIK).

I believe it was a comic in 2000AD about genetically enhanced super soldiers. I also thought there was some connection with the Judge Dread universe, but don't quote me on that; could just have been that GW held both licences at the same time...

Been a massive Rogue, (not Friday) fan since my teens really looking forward to seeing what comes out. Want souther flyers, Nort hoppas, pillboxes, sun legion and he of the 1000 head shots,  Morgan.

Sounds interesting indeed, I fast-read the linked rules, simple and slightly modiefied version of the Battlefield Evolution rules and FREE!
I will follow this with  great interest!

This looks promising. The three miniatures that are shown look very nice (from what you can see of them) and they don't seem to suffer from the proportion issues that the Judge Dredd sculpts do... so I may end up jumping on board with this.

Let's hope that the chosen sculptors keep up the standards that are shown...

If you watch the video on the KS site he seems to imply a connection to the Dredd universe...but not being too familiar with either story I don't know for sure.
