spanish Napoleonic skirmishers

Hi everyone 

I recently been starting to build Napoleonic spanish army (regulars not partisans) but as a relative new arrival (other than sharp) in the period am still a bit on unsure on a few things.this will probably sound rater silly but here goes. 

did the spanish use skirmishers like the British and french? 
if so was there any distinction in uniform or where they the same as the unit's they were part of.


Any recommendation on miniatures in 28mm spanish would also be most helpful (know of offensive and front rank.)
