That's amazing work all round, but the hair is particularly good. Really very realistic. Bravo!!! :o :-*

:) nah i haven't but a bugbear is also a metaphor for something that is an annoyance and hair has always been an subject of great distress to me as I could never get it right :P  Something just clicked in my head recently on a number of things....possibly all the isopropyl i have been sniffing of late

But I got stuck right back in last night, working on the floral patterns on the bone china cup and the main mushroom.

The sickle in the fruitful field;
The sword he sung a song of death,
But could not make the sickle yield."

Thanks pal.  Practice, practice and practice a little more and there is no reason you can't get to a higher level than I am currently at. EVERYTHING i paint is practice for the next thing :D Imperial guard are in this thread here http://leadadventureforum.com/index.php?topic=46840.0 they were tabletop average painting, I much prefer the display stuff, helps me improve, however that said the freehand vehicle markings helped me improve my freehand and the vehicle helped me improve my airbrush control and learn a few things.  Like I said everything is practice for something else :D

Good god in heaven!!  :o that is seriously impressive painting.  I'm completely blown away.

Oh, I didn't recall you were the same guy doing that army! Man, that's also awesome! A rightfully well earned award then, no doubt at all :).
