It is really awesome. Just beautiful.
Only one little thing....forgive me. I personally dont like the rectangle bases for the orchards. All other bases are in perfect harmony with the board, but the rectangle bases pop into my eyes.
Cheers

Alcal, once again your terrain and models have made me heartily sick, in a good way. Absolutely stunning, really capturing the look of Crete. You say it took 6 weeks!! It would take me longer than that just to plan something on that scale. Absolutely fantastic stuff!!!

Alcal,

first I really want to congratulate for your outstanding projects!!! :-* :-*

Then, which ruleset do you use for your games?

Hi there

Absolutely stunning !

Did you mean this summer or next summer ? which shows will it be going to  ? I would like to see it in the flesh.

Could you briefly explain how you plan to bolt the boards together , I can see some holes in the timber sides but not how you might use them ?

regards Paul

When this was created to go off for a weekends gaming we used Rapid Fire.
At home and the club we use Battle Ground WW11 but for larger/faster games we are moving to a home grown set or Panzer Marsch

Hi the game was never seen at any shows and was from three years ago ,im new to the forum so uploading a backlog of games and layouts.I will add the game pics for you though.
If you noticed slots in the sides of some of the other game boards it was in the plywood boards and i intended to hold them together with wooden biscuits,i didnt need to in the end as the boards stayed pretty flat

I am assuming you have made a range of tables of exceptional quality for other games. Actually I know you have as you have posted! These are just universally superb (I seldom use the 'genius' word but I am thinking of it!) So how do you STORE your wonderful creations. It must take an entire garage, a warehouse?

Where are there?

So I can give my hired gang of terrain thieves a location  lol lol

That was a joke...I think.

You would not believe how small an area they cover at 600mm x 600mm.So 2` high and  2` wide stood on end leaning against each other i have over 80 boards in two rows and two high so my total area is 4` wide 6` long and 4` high

That is one impressive set-up. How long did it take you to make the terrain boards for this one??? A true labor of love with some great craftsmanship!
