What the title says.

I remember them from the 80's but cannot think of a better way to describe them.
The helmet that they wore was like a pistachio.
I am not kidding!

Those that know them should know what I mean.... ::)

Anyone......?

I think they are commonly called beak helmets. They were made by Citadel as usual.

Not those fellas.

The ones I mean are one piece metal castings, fairly chunky.
Their helmets were like pistachios or clams or something similar.

Although "rather chunky" is the last thing that springs to mind with regards to GZG, could it have been the UN Space Command light hardsuit troops from the Stargrunt line?

No worries, it's worth checking on ebay as they pop up every now and then for cheap, check out alternative armies other sci-fi stuff there's some really cool Bob Olley Space pirates in the Khanate Empire section.

Funny you should suggest that, as I was thinking of using the pistachio heads as enemies for the Iron Claw Space Pirates by Mr Olley.

Be careful! "Pistachio-head" might be a trademark/copyright term.
