Building Calamity - Painting the Sarissa Precision Railroad Station

The railroad station is finally nearing completion. There is currently a part 1 and a part 2 on my blog so I'll include links to both posts here:

I have managed to hide the ugly puzzle cuts at the corners with some stripwood trim and have that painted up and weathered. I'm down to finishing off the chimney and shingling the roof, well and some paint touch-up. I won't start the serious weathering until its on its base. At least the outside its close to being finished. I haven't decided how I'll finish the inside yet, and the question of lighting the interior has come to mind as well. Nothing like a few stray thoughts to extend the life of a project. So more pictures on the blog. And, of course, some pictures if you don't want to head over to the blog:

I have this still to build for ACW cavalry raids, etc. This is the first painted example I've seen. I seem to have lost one of the support columns though.

As long as you have the other three you could just trace it and cut it out of a softer type of wood, like basswood.
