SeditionWars solutions
« on: March 06, 2013, 12:05:10 PM »

Hi.
Did anyone get a solution to any of the problems they had with the seditionwars boxes?

I e mailed them about some defects, they said they'd sort it out and since I've heard Jack Shit.

Just thought I'd ask before I wrote them another email.

I requested some replacements about 4 weeks ago and got an immediate reply they'd sort it out. Nothing in the post so far but I'd expect 4-6 weeks for delivery from the US to Germany so they are still in time. I wouldn't worry, CMON is usually a reliable company.

Not personally, but I've not heard of anybody else who's SW issues were actually sorted out either... I guess it depends on what the issues were (warped boards = probably a "no", but missing cards = probably a "yes"), as some are easier to sort out than others.

Missing a heavy weapons sprue.  They were very prompt in replying to my e-mail, but I've heard nothing since then.

Perhaps they're waiting to send them out with the additional stuff like the terrain and add-ons? Hopefully we all see more goodies soon, especially those of you who are missing items.

I thought I had everything (+ an extra Reaver body) but yesterday I couldn't find Kara's sword arm. I think I have misplaced it myself :'(

It sounds quite a poor show. I would have expected better from McVey & co. I hope for your sakes it gets sorted soon.

If you got the Glow in the Dark strain models, the set was missing some figures.    I let C'MON know (as did a ton of others) and they stated they would send out the missing figures.   Well, yesterday mine showed up.   Figs and their cards.

Now if they had just sent the bases with them.....    ::)

My replacements showed up today.
While I'm still not overly enthusiastic about the product itself, I can't fault CMON's customer service.

I started putting figures together on Sunday. The material is a little odd (not quite the same as the Mantic resin-plastic, and different from the GW plastic). It cleans up fairly nicely with the back edge of a hobby knife, and any bent or twisted parts bounce back into place if dunked in hot water.

I dislike the injection points being on the shoulder joints, especially on the Samaritans. They're a bit of a bitch to get the right shoulder to line up on. Most of mine are going to require a touch of green stuff to fill in. However, as mentioned with the hot water earlier, reposing figures is pretty easy. I've modified the arm positions on the scythe witches and a few of the revenants just by heating them and bending. It's not massive variety, but it helps a bit.

How's everyone doing with their customer service status?

I'm also reasonably happy with the material. Some people on this board (among others) are positively pissed about it tho so mileages vary for whatever reason.

If only they had used bright red material instead of gray my Kara might still have her original sword arm :?
