Serpentmen...
« on: April 10, 2008, 01:50:23 PM »
Anyone know of any stories involving Serpentmen? I need a quote to describe them for the game I'm working on and am having trouble finding a decent quote! Any swift help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanx,
Uncle Mike

There's a description in 'The Nameless City"

http://en.wikisource.org/wiki/The_Nameless_City

"Curse of Yig" also has a creature in it but that one is a cross breed between Human and Yig himself.

Try Clark Ashton Smith's "The Seven Geases"
http://www.eldritchdark.com/writings/short-stories/192/the-seven-geases

(The serpent people appear about 3/4 the way through the story.)

You can easily turn to Robert E. Howard's The Shadow Kingdom, which is a Kull story,  for lots of information on the serpent men.

Just another option to the aforementioned.
