Ready made cult of Ra
« on: 09 March 2013, 02:42:03 AM »
Nice starting out cult controlled by a mummy? You may need to convert the odd club into a meat cleaver, and there is  no rifle or shotgun, so the odd figure put in there would help.

Also a Chinese  The Black Dragon Tong cult.

Gotta agree that there are seriously possibilities with both.
Great sculpts with plenty of character.

I had considered it myself, but as I already have Cultists painted up (and another Cult unpainted.... ::)) and a Tong band waiting in the painting queue I had decided to pass on them.

Curr's Company and the Police (if they are suitable for the 20's), on the other hand, are still on the table for VSF and SA respectively.
In fact Currs Company may well work for SA too.

(Dont like the Prussians, but some here may do....)

The sickle in the fruitful field;
The sword he sung a song of death,
But could not make the sickle yield."

Those North Star figures look very tempting.
Just waiting for pics of the police to decide.

& here's a Drum & Bass theme song for your cult

Remember, remember, the Dalek December
With Paris in ruins and London in ember
In times of the future when fears are abating
Don’t try to forget them, the Daleks are waiting
Quietly planning and scheming and hating…

I want to see pics of them along side of either Artizan or West Wind before I decide.
I used to be with it, but then they changed what it was. Now what I'm with isn't it anymore and what is it seems weird and scary.

Which Artizan figures? I can probably sort that.
So many projects..... so little time.......

anything from their Thrilling Tales line would be appreciated, just this month I have been burned twice with buying figures that were supposed to be 28mm.

No probs, I'll dig something out tonight and upload a pic tomorrow.

I will say that they will fit fine however, given that Mike Owen has sculpted figures for this range. Not these particular ones, but just sayin'  ;)

Right, a couple of pics for you. The first shows a few of the figures with the Thrilling Tales figures. I put them with figures I thought people would want to use them with. As you can see the character figs match in perfectly. The cultists are a little bigger than their corresponding figures but not massively so, I'd have no trouble mixing them. That said, those are some of the first Thrilling Tales figures and there is some height variation within the Artizan range anyway, so I also took a photo with some more recent Artizan figures. As you can see, the Foreign Legion figs match the IHMN cultists perfectly.

Hope that helps.

I was afraid of this, looks like I'll have to get these along with Lord Curr and maybe the Scotland Yard set. :)
