6mm Saxon/Dark Age Buildings.
« on: 10 March 2013, 12:17:25 PM »
Some buildings loosely based on the reconstructions at West Stow. The extreme close-ups don't do much for them but if you stand on the other side of the room you should get the idea.

A few shots with Irregular vikings for scale, including the palisade walls which I may finish off with towers, gatehouses etc.

Good stuff and nicely detailed. You're casting them?

Yep, these are done in Jesmonite and turned out quite well considering my level of skill/equipment.

I've just remembered a smaller hall size that I'd done, here's a terrible photograph taken before the camera ran out of power...

Those are lovely pieces. Very clean/crisp mouldings......and no awful smells to annoy the neighbours  lol

Ooh, I like these. I bet once painted and all together on the table they will look really impressive.

Hah yes, although you still have to wear a suspicious mask and stalk around your living room!

If anyone would like some I still have the moulds, which I could sell, or the masters (I'd give them another going over after having seen these close-ups) I'd be happy to offload.
