Thats great work you have done on those Rebs, looking forward to the horses. I have just about completed 16 Redoubt horses and it seems that they are draining the life out of me, I really do not like painting horses.

Oil on the horses....are you using the 'wipe' method to speed things up, or is there another reason for the choice of oil paint?

Yes the wipe method.......oil paint and toilet roll every time.... ;D

Thank you for the additional photos. those are a superb bunch of troopers. Love the individual figures and love how you have combined them into very natural looking units. Your painting style suits these troops perfectly.

I was busy diving and teaching as I am part of the instructer team (DM) at Aquasport International , also ive been raising funds for my new underwater camera rig ,also im with the institute of Photography taking a Diploma.Also helped my best friend play test and develope some ECW rules.

So a busy few months , im just bringing two limber sets and all the horse holder vignettes onto the paint table so more painting soon ,also our wargames club is on summer shut down.

Hi

Next batch, two horse artillery limbers and teams and four mounted and four dissmounted horse holder and teams, I know the riegns are draped over the saddle on the perry horses before anybody mentions it , i will be attaching to horses to each other with a leather strap .
