Generic Casualty Figures (13/6 now in store)
« on: 14 March 2013, 11:11:10 PM »
Some greens that I have been working on (with Hasslefree heads) of a set of four generic casualty figures.  They are generic inasmuch as they are intended to be pretty ambiguous for easy customisation whether with paint or with greenstuff for a variety of 20th/21st century and near future genres.

They'll be castings heading into the store sometime soon-ish.  :)

Jackpot my friend; prepare to sell them by the gallon! :D

I think just about everyone and their grandma will be wanting at least half a dozen of those. Probably more...

a few remarks

I have watched Your improving sculpting skills over the years and I have to say: KUDOS man!
I would also like to have some of these

female casualties - this is a very sensitive matter
when it comes to female combattants, I don't see a problem why they shouldn't be clothed the same way as males in the 2nd half of the 20th C and 21st
I would personally keep a healthy distance from sculpting female civilian casualties, for obvious reasons that are unecessary to discuss

Do a couple in simple shirts rather than jackets too.

Very nice. I have been wanting modern casualties or some time. +1 for at least 1 female casualty (that sounds morbid).

Thanks for the interest and encouragement (and Mark (CV) your project has me intrigued!).

As there's interest a female figure does seem a likely prospect, though I do have to settle on pose and clothing.   Thoughts would appreciated: for example, skirt or trousers, prostrate, curled or sitting? etc.   :)

I am aiming for an April launch and its likely (but don't hold me to it) that the figures will be sold as a pack of four mixed (one of each) and in packs of four identicals.  The female, if she happens, will be available as a single or in packs of 4 identicals.

I've added a project page over at the store though I will of course continue to update over here at LAF, our favourite wargaming website.  :D

Some sort of knee skirt seems sufficiently neutral at least. And long hair would probably cover more time periods, but there's still the question of hairstyle.
