Green Knight
« on: March 18, 2013, 09:52:22 AM »
Hi,

I have searched through many versions of the Green Knight, some conversions were really interesting. But I wanted to keep the original model but make it more etherial. I was inspired by the ghost knights on the VC mortis engine and wanted to try a ghostly green knight.

What do you guys think? Do i need to add anything? More Shrubberies?

Cheers
Matt

Hahaha :D

Thanks James. I will see what I can do. Thanks for the shrub ideas. What's out there in the world of scenic shrubs these days? I have some old 90's era green dyed "lichen", where does captain blood get his fancy field flowers from? They look amazing on his WOTR figures.

Cheers
Matt

The direct source for the flowers I believe is a company called Mininatur and you can get them from various wargames emporiums. I'm sure someone will come along with a linky at some point soon  :)

Maybe a couple of little shrubs at the base of the rocks to break it up a little bit.

Then, when you have found the shrubbery, you must place it there, beside the other shrubbery, only slightly lower, so you get the two-level effect with a little path running down the middle.

Joking aside, bigger pics would be cool but the knight looks good in the small pics as well. I'm not entirely sure yet how much I like the green horse, but the effect of the model as a whole is very striking!

I always liked this mini, and your version of it is fantastic! We definitely need bigger (and more) pictures.

Awesome! Thanks James and Blackwolf for the link! Go you google ninjas! I was just trying to source from hobby co.. it wasn't working very well ;)

Haha, maybe i can get a small animal path in there or something.

And now for some larger pictures, brought to you by the letter P. For Photoshop.
