Another concept can be an "poilu angel", a fighting angel wearing a fire sword with old WW1 uniform (any idea of model ?). Spirit of revenge coming from past conflict...

For french readers you can find excellent inspiration in the comic book  "la brigade chimérique". It's the story of european superheroes and "super-science" just before WW2...A great reading !

I have always had an idea for a unit of Traceurs in a french army. David Bell, the creator of Parkour was a Frenchman and the original training group were all friends of him that trained together in Lisses.
I thought about a fast, agile, go anywhere sort of group with no armour (slows you down) and all carrying Sub Machine guns and maybe some grenades.

Biased i know, but i do love training my Parkour :)

Wow, that warbot is really great! Nice use of the mage knight figure. Makes me want to build a squadron of them...if I ever find any mage knight figures in the uk... :?

Love the idea of the "poilu angel". Reaper has a nice set of Angelic Wings that could be used for a conversion. I have toyed around with the idea of using a combination of Pig Iron Kolony Ferals and Artizan Gourmiers to create rad-wraiths. Here are some photos of possible bits.

Very nicely done!  These are quite imaginative, yet you kept them looking consistent and not ridiculous.  And its a subject few folks probably would have thought to work with.
