mixing paint question
« on: March 18, 2013, 04:46:59 PM »
i have a load of craft paint old and i went out and got a whole bunch of new gw paint line without really thinking about what i needed or could use the colors for. So i want to mix paints potentially before buying again however looking online lots of recipes call for drops of . future and than of paint, or of various paints. All my paint hobby and craft are in pots or what amounts to a pot.

Do eye dropper work or anyone have any suggestion is this regard?

Also I have been look for empty dropper bottle so this wont be a concern if i mix up a color i like. Anyone know a place to buy this micheals, hobby lobby and joann have nothing like that.

thanks for any help,   im in the us btw

You can use an empty syringe ( minus the needle, of course ) to mix the paint with. You can buy them at Drug stores - look in the places where they sell baby food, as they are often used to deliver liquid (or medicine) to babies.

As for the bottles, check out an art supply store like Dick Blick:

Hope this helps.
