@Carlos

Your sarcasm is so pungent, it could dissolve glass  lol lol lol
You a writer?

Yes, the box art appears to be money thrown out the window....

You know guys feed back is invaluable, but

try and keep it constructive.

As it happens we got the piece from an artist (yes an artist, but not Banksy or Tracy, Gorman or Rembrant), on approval so we conserved our funds. We are not completely stupid at Offensive you know ;D. At least we had the sense to poll opinion before it cost us anything and not get roasted once put into production.

We are looking at how we bundle our sets at present as there are some exciting things on the horizon - watch this space.

The saracsm did make me laugh I will admit. lol

Well go and buy some OM figures then!

There will be very nice goodies at Salute!

Hopefully I will be able to post some eye candy in the next few days! We will get there by guile rather than strength (THAT MIGHT BE A CLUE)

thanks guys

Not keen on the artwork.
The 2 front chaps are pretty much copies of the Airfix ones but the helmets look a bit modern to me.
The chap at the back looks like he injured his arm in the para drop.

They don't really blend in too well with the background - they look "collaged" into place rather than being there - a bit like poor greenscreen on tv?

But the killer for me is the background. Is that supposed to be Arnhem Bridge in the background? Or just my eyesight?
Famous for paras, but nor these ones. You wouldn't put out a box of red berets with Johnny Frost sitting on a sign saying "Wecome to Bastogne".
Gary, Glynis, and Alasdair (there are three of us, but we are too mean to have more than one login)

Fair comment young Fastolfrus!

The artist and I share a love of Airfix box art. I see he loved it a bit too much. I think he did look at the Red Devils box for the bridge, but then again, from a passing galloping horse if one squints it could be mistaken for Nijmegen, well maybe, maybe not.

Anyway it is going to stop on my living room wall and go no further.

Cant believe no one got the clue in earlier post.....maybe if I paraphrased it in Latin......

Putting some nice battle shots on my blog of our painted paras - will post a link v soon.

I think pictures of the figures them selves would be better.

Agreed. Even more so when you have so many painted by Andrew Taylor. A picture of the figures on a table setting would do it for me.

Don't say we don't listen. I am putting a blog together of our paras battling it out as we speak. I will post a link v soon.

Might be. Hard to tell with the burning greenhouse.
But wasn't Nijmegen US 82nd (red arm badge) rather than 101st (screaming eagles)?
Not that I'm button counting, but the type of people who lay out cash for pictures might be.

A button counter might also point out that the uniforms are wrong for Market Garden.  ;)

Looks more like the Tyne bridge, which would make those burning Geordie greenhouses.
