Question
« on: 22 March 2013, 12:59:50 AM »
We played our first game last night and I had a question.  When a unit gets more supressions than the number of figures in the unit they roll morale. If they fail they run if they pass they are fine but have to take a morale check when they get another supression or try to activate.  If the unit plays a recover card as their action do they take two morale checks or just the one for the recover card?

Thanks

Chuck

Hi, I see where the confusion comes from.

As per the rules, you only have to pass a single morale test on playing the recover card, both for recovery from pinned and voluntary recovery actions. The "downside" is that the unit cannot do anything else during that activation (and may flee if failing the test).

Clearly put, if you want to play a recover card on a unit with a number of Suppression Markers greater than the unit size at that point, you do NOT have to perform an activation check before attempting to un-pin.
